Wilson Combat checkered mainspring housing is fully machinedfrom bar stock with real cut checkering. These high-quality housings are adrop-in upgrade for handguns with cast of polymer housings and the same partsused in Wilson Combat custom guns.

Rule of thumb: a shooter with average sized hands would dobest with a flat mainspring housing and a long trigger. Someone with an extra-largehand should use an arched mainspring housing and long trigger combination andpeople with very small hands should use a flat mainspring housing with a shorttrigger.

Minor fitting may be required in some guns.
